Review: Collection - big fake ultimate false lash effect mascara.

when looking to try a new mascara I like to go for both high end & high street brands. I saw this in boots and decided to give it a go, I remember the pixiwoo sisters raving about this mascara ages ago!
Now, to start off I want to talk about the formula... this is the dries mascara I have ever used! when you first open it, it looks like you've been using it for weeks already. Luckily, I like dry mascara's as they work well for me, however this may be slightly too dry, even for me.
The brush is very large, and kinda hard to use. It's a real pain to get into the outer corner and inner corner lashes, as you can see from the images below, I didn't manage to get many of my baby inner corner lashes. And don't get me started on the lower lashes, they are a nightmare to coat with this giant applicator.
The mascara retails for £5.99, which in my opinion is very good for the quality of the mascara and how effective it is.

the packaging is sleek and easy on the eye, as are a many of the collection products.

before (obviously)

after... you can see that the mascara isn't too clumpy and it adds more volume to the lashes than length, in my opinion.

New: MUA power pout lip balm stain's.

I popped into the wonderful Super drug a few days ago to check out the new MUA products, I have always loved the MUA range as the products are super and so inexpensive.
A few things caught my eye, especially the power pout stains. They're very similar to the Revlon just bitten balm stains (which I adore) so I nabbed a few. I picked up three of them to have a try...

the colours I picked up are (left to right) runaway, irreplaceable & justify. I just love the packaging!

the products don't have a huge amount of pigmentation but still have a good colour pay off, they are more glossy than I had expected, which causes them to lack in staying power which is a shame. The power pouts give the lips a lovely juicy, glossy look which appears effortless. The lippies are so effortless to apply too.
The products retail for £3.00 each, such a bargain! I'm 100% going back into the store to get some more shades.

have you tried these yet? let me know in the comments how you found them.
