Sleek Face Form contouring and blush palette

First off, I'm so happy to see a tiny compact that has everything you need to achieve a glowy face! I find it's always a massive pain in the bum when you've got to carry around all your face products with you. Here's the solution.
When shopping for my birthday outfit I poped into Superdrug to get some lashes, when BAM this little beauty cried out to me, so it was inevitable that I needed to buy it, of course. I had always seen beauty guru's talking about this but never thought to actually try it.
Firstly I want to talk about the packaging, I love sleek's packaging it's so chic and simple. I have also noticed that it's really secure, we've all had that heart breaking thing happen to us; our favourite product is dropped onto the floor and smashed into a billion pieces, however Sleek packaging seems to be shatter proof (ish) of course, if you drop it out of a window there may be consequences. Also, there's a great mirror for any touch up's.

Now onto the product itself...
Inside the pallet there's a contour colour, highlighter and blush. I really like the product's , the colours are fab and really suit my skin colour. I have very pale skin and often find it hard to find a contour colour that isn't too dark, orange or muddy. This however, works well on my skin and blends easily.
The highlighter isn't the best that I have ever used but it's really lovley, there's a obvious glow to the face when it's applied and there's not too much shimmer within it.
The blush is gorgeous! I love a slight shimmer in my blush, if you don't then this may not be the product for you, the blush has a beautiful rose gold tone to it which I adore.
When it comes to the formula I'm not too sure about it, when applying the powders they seems slightly chalky, the power seems to fall off the pallet, if you know what I mean.

The products are a reasonable size. The pallet cost £9.99 which works out at about £3.30 per product, which is great value for the quality!

Overall I am very happy with the product, well done sleek!

MAC girl about town vs Revlon lip butter (lollipop)

I have made a beauty discovery!
& a very good one at that. We all look for amazing dupes for those products that we adore but that are just too pricey for our student pockets.
Today's much loved dupe is...

MAC's girl about town lipstick & Revlon's lip butter (lollipop).

As you can see, the formulation is different but the colours look very similar. I do prefer the Revlon lip butter to the MAC lipstick too! I lalalalaaaa love both of the products, but the lip butter is so gloriously moisturising that it has become an all time favourite for me!

I reccomend you try both! :)

Astrid & Miyu Secret Box

astrid & miyu design unique, wearable and high quality  jewellery. The lovely jewellery pieces are created by the dedicated team of designers based in England, South Korea and Italy. Connie and Jenny are the co-founders and creative minds behind astrid & miyu. They met in London in 2009, and instantly clicked as they share the same interest for fashion. Connie & Jenny enjoyed shopping and eyeing up many clothing pieces that they adored but often found it difficult to find jewellery that satisfied their tastes.
The secret box is a new concept that I am very excited to share with you all... I'm sure you'll love it! We have all heard of subscription box's such as glossybox, burchbox, jolie box ect... They are all very popular 'beauty' boxes. The astrid & miyu secret box is very similar, every three months a new 'secret' filled box is sent out to awaiting costumers  Unfortunately the box is only available in the UK at the moment.

The subscription fee is £39 + free uk delivery. Within each box there is £200 worth of astrid &miyu jewellery and designer goodies handpicked by the astrid & miyu team. Don't worry either, you aren't tied down to a subscription, you can cancel anytime... which is great, if you're not happy with the boxes (which is impossible, as the jewellery is fantastic design and quality) you can cancel the next box.
The jewellery that you receive is customized for you, based on a style survey that you will be asked to fill out via email. Which means you will get pieces of jewellery for your unique style and taste.
I was lucky enough to be sent the December secret to take a look at, and I will tell you now... I absolutely love it! They have got my style down to a T.

 The box is so cute!!
The bags that the jewellery comes in blew me away, amazing for gifts & such a cute little touch! they are really well made aswell.
The first piece that I received in the secret box is the glam rock necklace  £39 (the cost of the box is already covered)! I adore this necklace, it's statement yet very delicate with the added glam of the diamonds.

This is my favourite item that I received, I have worn it every day since I got it!. The sunshine time bracelet is available on the Astrid & Miyu website for £15 (what a steal).

The last thing that i got in the box is 'I choose in silver' which is available for £24. I love everything spike, so this is just for me! It's such amazing quality too.

Overall, I love the concept of the box and found it so exciting to open something I had no idea what was inside, it was like an early Christmas!

I would just like to that the Astrid & Miyu team for sending me the gorgeous goodies.
